The School Leaving Exam (SLC) is the final examination in secondary school in the country of Nepal. Even though it is the most important examination in a student’s education more than 50% fail each year.
St Devi’s Academy has finally received the results from this exam taken 3 months ago. We are very proud because all of our senior students passed!!
The Nepal Education Department is in the process of changing the format for the grading of the SLC exam. It has always been based on a numeric grade but next year the exam results will be given in a letter system (eg. A, B, C), like the U.K. and the USA. The government feels the letter system will make it easier when a student applies to a school abroad for higher learning.
