Every Child Has a Different Story

Our program is unique because we bring children who desperately need assistance directly into our home where they are safe and well-cared for. Every child has a different story. Many have been abandoned or orphaned. Some of our girls would have been sold into prostitution because of destitution; a few of our children lived and begged on the street, others were abused and in danger from a reluctant caregiver. Whatever the details, each story is the same; there was no one to help, and that is where TWAM comes in!

Demonstrating Love

We strive to show the love of Christ to each of our children in a positive, real way – every day! Our children are provided with nutritious meals, given a quality education, and while in our care all the basic needs of life. The children live and learn at our school, developing friendships, values, and a love for others. Many young people have graduated and continued with higher education or entered the workplace in and around their communities. This is a far cry indeed from the homeless, orphaned, or abused child who walked through the doors only a few years earlier.

Sponsor a Child Today

Raising and tending to a child costs money. It is only through the generosity and love of a sponsor that we can support each child. Sponsoring a TWAM child is one way to live by the words Christ spoke in Matthew 25:40. “Inasmuch as you have done it unto one of the Least of These, my brethren, you have done it unto Me.” Please prayerfully consider if this is an avenue where you’ve been called. If it is, let us know and we’ll be thrilled to help connect you and a child who is waiting.

A two-way blessing occurs when a person opens their heart to a child: the sponsor is blessed through giving and being personally involved, while the child is blessed by the connection to an individual or family far away.  These children are not faceless, but real children with dreams, ideas, feelings, and the desire for a positive life and future.

Changing the world starts with changing just one life at a time.
