Justice is a young man in Ghana who desperately wants to better himself through education.  He knows that he cannot lift himself out of the cycle of poverty except through knowledge.  His father died before he was born and his mother is a peasant farmer working for other people for very little money.  A couple of years ago his mother enrolled Justice in Kwanyako Senior High School.  He was not allowed to take the examination and Justice was asked to go home because his mother did not pay the required fees.  He was determined to earn enough money himself so he sold coconuts but the money that he earned had to be used to feed himself and his mother.

When we took the attached picture of Justice he wanted us to get a good impression so he stood in front of the best house in his village.

TWAM is sending Justice to a boarding school (senior high) in Swedru.  Yesterday we received a letter from him.

Dear Madam Suzy,

I thank God for having you as my Madam.  My prayer is that God Almighty will prolong your work.

Madam, I appreciate what you are doing in my life as you are treating me like your own son in a different country.  I know you want me to become a great person in future.  I will learn very hard so that I will not put you to shame.

Madam, God will give you the reward for your mission.  I thank you so much and I love you for doing this for me.

Yours faithfully,  Justice Kofi
