Who would think that having a change of underwear would give a person a sense of dignity and value, but truth be known, it does. We will be heading to St. Devi’s in Nepal and the LOT Children’s Home in Relli, India in just a few weeks. Underwear is one of the things we need to take with us. Yes, underwear can be purchased in both of those countries but the quality is very poor.

Just yesterday we went to Target and Super Walmart to check on prices. This sounds like a pretty simple task but who knew that underwear shopping (or price checking) would be so complicated! In the girl section they have a variety to choose from – hipsters, boy shorts, girls shorts, bikinis. The boy department is filled with boxer briefs. Both girl and boy underwear is covered in super heroes, ‘Frozen’ and Disney characters and though there is nothing wrong with these patterned underwear, they cost a lot more! Yikes,we want plain, old fashioned briefs!

If you want to help with this need, please send a check (108 W Tomichi, Suite A, Gunnison, CO 81230) or donate on our website (yes, it’s tax deductible). Just mark your donation: Underwear. We need sized 4, 6, 8, 10.

Thanks for caring. 🙂
