Here at TWAM we are not only mothers of our own children but also a mother to many. Really though, it’s not us! It’s you, the people who support us. We believe that to sponsor a child means you have a huge, loving heart. When you learn of an orphan child you think of your own lovely child, so your heart is touched and you want to help. A person who is willing to spend their hard-earned money on a stranger doesn’t see the filthy clothes or dirty face of a street kid. They see a little person who desperately needs a helping hand. When a person extends kindness to a beggar child, they don’t smell the stench or notice the matted hair instead they do what they can to overturn the misfortunate circumstances.
Today we want to HONOR the mothers (and fathers) who sponsor our children! To give a new life and opportunities to an abandoned child is noble and generous! Actually, we think it’s downright awesome!! To have the power to change a life and then to DO it – what a beautiful thing!! Thank you!
