Last week Devi and David took a few days to travel to eastern Nepal to check out the suitability of that area for a relocation of St Devi’s Academy.  That region is desirable because land is less expensive than the Kathmandu Valley, yet with closer investigation, it came up short.  Eastern Nepal is not satisfactory because the weather is extremely hot; there are many disease-bearing mosquitoes, poisonous snakes and other insects.  Also, obtaining good water is not easy; there are no hospitals nearby, and it seems that there is a higher rate of theft.  Finally, it’s not as safe for foreigners as the city.  So the search continues…
